I always look at more than just cleansing when I choose a shower gel. The fragrance, texture, and how comfortable my skin feels afterward matter just as much.
These three products are quite different from one another: one is warm and sweet, another combines cleansing with gentle exfoliation, and the third has a softer floral character. After trying all three, I definitely have a favorite.
Lush Honey I Washed The Kids
The easiest 10/10 of the three for me is Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Shower Gel. Its fragrance is what makes it stand out immediately. The scent is warm, sweet, and comforting, with a rich honey character and a slightly caramel-like feel that makes an ordinary shower much more enjoyable.
I also like the texture because it feels rich without being too heavy. It lathers easily, so I do not need to use a large amount each time. The sweetness does not feel completely flat either, because there is enough freshness in the fragrance to keep it balanced.
For me, this is the kind of shower gel that works especially well in the evening or during colder months, when I want my routine to feel cozy and relaxing. It is also the one I would be most likely to repurchase, which is why I would rate it a full 10/10.
Palmolive Thermal Spa Gentle Massage
When I want cleansing and exfoliation in a single step, I reach for Palmolive Thermal Spa Gentle Massage Shower Peeling. Its textured formula gives the skin a gentle polishing effect, while the cherry blossom fragrance adds a soft, feminine touch.
I especially enjoy using it on areas that tend to feel a little rough, such as my arms and legs. The massage-like texture makes the shower feel slightly more indulgent, although I prefer to use exfoliating products like this only occasionally rather than every day.
The scent is pleasant and easy to enjoy, but it does not feel quite as distinctive or memorable as the Lush shower gel. Still, it is a practical choice when I want something simple that combines cleansing with light exfoliation. My rating is 7/10.
Dove Sakura Summer
When I want something soft, fresh, and easy to use every day, I reach for Dove Sakura Summer Matcha & Cherry Blossom Scent Body Wash. The combination of matcha and cherry blossom gives it a light floral character that feels pleasant without becoming too intense.
I like the creamy texture because it makes the product comfortable to use and keeps the shower routine feeling simple and relaxing. This is the kind of body wash I choose when I want something gentle, uncomplicated, and suitable for regular use.
The packaging is also very pretty, and the limited-edition design makes it feel a little more special. Still, I expected the fragrance to be slightly more memorable, so for me it also gets 7/10.
Overall, Lush is the clear winner because it has the most distinctive fragrance and the strongest personality. Palmolive and Dove are both enjoyable options, but they feel more like easy everyday choices.
